While I notice many of the reviews of Paddle On note it as unique, it's so much more than that. The atmosphere is at once open, airy, and contemporary and also intimate, soothing, and charming. I've visited just to pop in for a quick coffee or breakfast, met friends for conversation, held informal meetings, worked freelance, utilized the back space for classes or meetings, and just breathed, taking five minutes. It's perfect. I also appreciate the feeling of a welcome home from the cheerful staff and owners. The menu is creative, fun, and I love the seasonal nods. It offers exactly what is needed. While I certainly don't ever plan to ship there, I find myself drawn to picking up interesting books, locally- made items, or other items that aren't the normal tourist offerings that catch my eye while waiting for my order. Highly recommend!
